Big ideas deserve big rewards: The top three teams will be rewarded from a prize pool of over 9,000 EUR, made possible by ITU and ESA. Distributed in CHF (ITU) and EUR (ESA), these prizes celebrate innovation that pushes boundaries.

·       1st place: 1500 CHF + 3000 EUR + diploma

·       2nd place: 1000 CHF + 2000 EUR + diploma

·       3rd place: 500 CHF + 1000 EUR + diploma

 The top-three winning teams will have the opportunity to present their solutions during the AI for Good Summit 2026 which is hosted from 07 to 10 July 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. Present your solution to top scientists, developers, and leaders in the areas of AI for Good and build your reputation!

Moreover, we strongly encourage innovative solutions (e.g. fusing all the four sets of embeddings). Based on this, most interesting solutions can be selected to directly collaborate with the ESA Φ-lab for scientific purposes!

Final ranking and prize eligibility:

The final ranking will be presented during the AI For Good Global Summit held in Geneva, Switzerland from 7-10 July 2026.

Only the Teams that will submit their solution in time and in full volume, as well as a technical document explaining the code, will be considered for the prizes. Please check the Rules section of this webpage for more info on how to create and submit a viable solution. If the solution turns out to be not reproducible, or if any concerns about its validity arise, the organisers reserve the right to contact the team leader of the corresponding team to resolve such issues. If the issues cannot be resolved, the Team will not be eligible to receive a prize (see the Challenge evaluation section on the Rules webpage of this website).

All prize money and reimbursements will be transferred to the point of contact of the respective Team. The point of contact and the Teams are responsible for fair and equal distribution of the prize money between all team members, or choosing the further use of the money. The organizers will not interfere with any potential dispute on these matters and cannot offer legal or arbitrary assistance.

Please note that only persons of legal age in their jurisdiction but at least of 18 years old are eligible of receiving cash prizes. The person must hold an active bank account which supports standard transfers via IBAN and BIC/SWIFT. Please refer to the rules section for more details.
